Power Management Software

Facts
  • Generation of energy, cost, and active power reports for individual connectors, IT appliances up to complete data centres
  • Data export in graphic format
  • Data supply by popular transfer protocols and ODBC interface to enable embedding in superordinated monitoring systems and data bases
  • Simplified centralized management with mass configuration, firmware management and denomination of intelligent PDUs
  • Aggregation of multivendor power data (APC, ServerTech, HP, Eaton, ...)

Secure energy optimization.

The running costs for power and cooling exceed the original purchse costs of the hardware many times over. To achieve maximum efficiency in your data centres, it is advisable to measure and report the power consumption of each device. Our power management software assists you in this task. It provides energy reporting data to monitor availability and load of your power supply and assists you with your future planning by creating "what if" reports. What does this mean? More transparency for investment decisions on energy optimisation.

User-friendly.

The standard transmission protocols and the web user interface (GUI) enable easy and comfortable operation and control. File your individual locations, data centres and IT appliances and generate rapidly and easily analyses of your power consumption and energy costs, from server to data centre, and visualize current or historical data displayed graphically (up to 2 years. Both the graphic output and the generated reports can be organised by responsible party, manufacturer and customer.

Power Management     1. Real-time monitoring via Web user interface (GUI)

2. Customer server or optional hardware with software appliance available

3. Telemonitored and controlled socket strip, available with IEC C13 and C19 socket inserts and optional hydraulic magnetic disconnectors

4. Linking items 1 to 3 to LAN

5. CEE current connection lead available with 230 VAC (16 A or 32 A) or 400 VAC (16 A and 32 A) feed-in

6. Display for local operation

7. Telemonitored temperature and humidity sensors

8. Connection of the sensors to the socket strip

9. Equipment cable from the socket strip to the equipment (e.g. server)

Security

The system is highly secured by standards-based authentication, web session timeout and IP-based access control. The allocation of user rights, encryption methods and firewall prevent unauthorized access.
